After our last blog post on the delivery issues to AOL we did not receive any word from the AOL Postmaster team.
The problems at AOL have been going on for almost a month now, up to the point that hardly anyone can deliver email now. If you eventually succeed the messages are delayed
by days. With the upcoming holiday campaigns this proves to be a major show stopper for a lot of our customers as well as other ESP's in the industry.
Over 100 posts have been made on the AOL blog from people complaining but not a single word from AOL ....
And this is not the first time it happened. Is this what people can expect from a major player such as AOL ?
AOL customers are expecting emails to arrive, important transactional emails, family emails and mails from companies they have subscribed to.
AOL is letting them down and they are failing at every level to communicate with the outside world.
AOL get your act together and start serving your customers instead of leaving them in the dark!
And while you are at it , start communicating with ESP's who have always been compliant with your sender guidelines!
We will continue to monitor the situation but we do not see any resolvment from AOL's side soon. maybe it's time for a change .......
